The Dolphin II is a benifit to the LMT by allowing the client's back to be semi-prone. This allows the LMT to use better body machanics which prevents them from wearing out a quickly.
It benifits the client by allowing them to lay in a semi-prone position or sit up; which ever they are most comfortable with. This is especially benifical when the client is in a setting which does not allow for a relaxing full-body massage.
The down side for this pricey chair is that it takes longer to change the settings from one client to another.

I use this chair 3 or 4 times a week. It is big and takes up the entire front seat of my car when folded, but makes up for it with ease of moving, since it has it's own wheels. I recommend getting the travel case to protect it during transport. I can set this up within minutes, it has beautiful lines and the adjustments you can make are endless. Before I bought this, I read reviews and other users said it took a while to learn to use. I disagree, I found it very easy after watching the video once. It might be more challenging to learn if you have never set up a massage chair before.

A massage chair by any other name is not a massage chair like the Dolphin II!!!! Very versatile! Allows lower back work and access to sacrum and all gluteal muscles!!! My clients love it!!!!!

As a fairly new massage therapist, me and my dolphin are at every "people" event I hear of. I have used it at health fairs, teachers appreciation,office parties, and hair salons. The dolphin is easy to carry, super easy to set up and versatile in adjusting to the many sizes of clients.Others therapists say" ohhhh, THATS the dolphin"! The only issue I have had is the head rest clamp needs tightened quite often, but I keep a phillips screw driver in my bag now so no real problem. Over all I really enjoy working on this chair.

I am 6 feet tall and this allows me to comfortablely use a massage chair. I like the many different ways I can adjust it. The clients don't care how it's set up --but I do during a long session of chair massage!

I really like the chair. I've used it for many functions and people think it's very comfortable. Unfortunately, I am not able to transport it easily as the atrap for the case I bought for it frayed and broke off. Otherwise, I love it.

I would not recommed this chair. It's unstable, and tools are needed to tighten down the nuts constantly to keep the face cradle from sliding down to the floor or the seat sliding back into the floor. Have had several clients slide down and startles them. It can be a bit difficult to setup. The only plus to this chair is that it's lightweight and easy to carry.

I like the dolphin II because, as a business owner of a chair massage company, it gives me the range to work on clients close to how I would on the table. It is easy to travel with and the clients think it is very comfortable. I can massage a wide range of people from super shorties to very large.
There have been a few times that the chair has slipped and gave both client and therapist a shock, but with proper maintainance this will not happen. Watch the video. Request a replacement handle so you are not without one when the plastic handle wears down. I love this chair, it has made me feel better about my posture while massaging and I also feel I can give the best massage in this chair.

My chair is different then anyone elses. They always seem to notice my chair! I use my chair mostly at events and private customers. The break done of the chair can be complicated if you don't know what you are doing.

The velcro moves on its own and you have to readjust it almost every time you use it. (under seat and face cushion) Besides that the chair is great. The instructions are a little vague (the face and head adjustments on the instructions were not what was installed on my chair) Overall, I like the chair as my clients also enjoy it.

I have thus far been very pleased with the dolphin. My concern is that the handle that locks the chest rest has broken on me, and I fear that that the seat lock may break next. This is my only and biggest issue.
Nevertheless I did not have any other issues, and I am very please with the product

I have overweight clients who cannot lay flat on a table. The Picses works great for them. I also use it for quickie massages for clients who don't have a lot of time.

It would be advantageous for the chest piece to be moveable somehow, in order to elevate the chest piece, or to have a removable pillow that will velcro in place. There have been comments that some client's necks have been sore after 15 min, even though the head piece had been adjusted so their spine is in alignment. I use the chair for Farmer's Markets, office chair massage etc. I don't know that the head piece is as padded as the other chair I owned? Thank you.

This product in not very sturdy when people get in and out of it or if they try to adjust their seating while in it. The headrest slides down only after a few massages and adjustments with tools have to be made. I would not recommend this product!

Product needs more reinforced Joints for where the body plate meets the frame. Face rest is inflatible and popped within the first month of use. Other replacement face cushions are not very compatible. Rubber feet keep falling off. Company replaced broken parts free of charge, but there was difficulty in putting the chair back together, slight incompatibilities with the parts. Will stick with a cheaper, more durable chair in the future. Not recommended for portable use because of weak areas in frame.
